Fruit production

Our orchards span an area of 700 hectares on estates in Čelarevo and Zaječar, in regions known for favorable climatic and soil conditions that enable high and stable yields.
The fruit plantations are organized according to Italian SUDTIROL technology. Apples are planted in dense formations, at distances of 3.2 x 0.8 meters and 3 x 0.6 meters, allowing between 3,900 to 6,000 seedlings per hectare, which is crucial for achieving high and stable yields. On certain areas, we also apply even denser planting, at a distance of 2.5 x 0.50 meters, achieving up to 8,000 seedlings per hectare, further enhancing production.

In addition to planting density, the quality of planting material, protection from adverse climatic factors, quality irrigation, and fertilization play a key role in achieving high and stable yields. Our irrigation system and weather station are connected to GPRS, enabling remote control and monitoring of parameters, while irrigation and fertilization are carried out automatically using the “Smart watering” intelligent irrigation system.
