Regina is very popular for its attractive dark red color, large fruits, and exceptional taste.
Regina cherries have a sweet and sour flavor that blends beautifully with sweet notes.
Areco is known for its large, dark red, and juicy fruits.
Areco is sweet, making it ideal for fresh consumption. It is also frequently used for making juices, jams, and other products.
Delta Agrar has incorporated a newly opened Ultra Low Oxygen (ULO) cold storage facility in Zaječar, called “World of Freshness.”
The cold storage facility is equipped with the most modern MafRoda line for calibrating and packing cherries.
This makes the estate in Zaječar unique, with the largest capacity for handling cherries in this way in this part of Europe.
As one of the most modern facilities in the world for storing and handling cherries, it is located right next to our orchards, which shortens and controls the entire process—from harvesting to storing the fruit.
The temperature in the cold storage is 2°C, which is considered the ideal atmosphere for the fruit to remain fresh and retain all its characteristics and full shine.
