The Second Regional Conference “Ready for Climate Challenges: The Perspective of Regenerative Agriculture”.

The second regional conference, “Ready for Climate Challenges: The Perspective of Regenerative Agriculture,” organized by the Donau Soja Organisation in cooperation with EIT Food, was held last week in Novi Sad as part of the “EIT Food Regenerative Agriculture Program” project.

Delta Agrar shares the vision of developing regenerative agriculture through the application of innovative technologies that increase yields and optimize costs, providing added value compared to conventional production. With this approach, we build partnerships with processors who share the same values and commitment to a sustainable future.

“In previous seasons, certain regenerative practices have proven effective in mitigating the negative effects of climate change, especially regarding drought and irregular rainfall distribution in spring crops such as soybeans and corn,” emphasized Zoran Tomašev, Development Manager at Delta Agrar.

Economic sustainability is further strengthened through the use of precision agriculture, irrigation, and organic fertilizers, which contribute to more rational resource management and the long-term stability of production. Delta Agrar already applies precision agriculture and irrigation systems on more than 30% of its land, with a clear goal to expand this practice to 100%—confirming our long-term commitment to sustainable agricultural practices.
